Gynaecologic Oncology

We provide specialist gynaecologic oncology services led by Dr Susannah Mourton, an internationally trained gynaecologic oncologist with extensive experience in the diagnosis, treatment, and surgical management of cancers affecting the female reproductive system.

Our expertise includes the treatment of cancers of the uterus, cervix, ovaries, fallopian tubes, vagina, and vulva, as well as the management of precancerous conditions and complex pelvic surgery for benign gynaecological conditions.

Patients receive comprehensive, personalised care from consultation through to treatment and follow-up. Services include specialist consultations, colposcopy, advanced surgical procedures, and minimally invasive robotic surgery. Dr Mourton has performed more than 1,000 robotic procedures and is actively involved in training surgeons throughout New Zealand in this advanced technology.

We offer care at Southern Cross Hospital, St George's Hospital, and Forte Health, with a strong focus on timely access to treatment, clear communication, and ongoing support throughout every stage of care. Our dedicated team works closely with patients, referring specialists, and primary care providers to ensure the best possible outcomes and a seamless treatment experience.
